"4-yr-old Tommy" and "Puppy Tommy"[No, not a new cast member.]
"Mrs. Walker" recently adopted a puppy. She is one of our New York imports, so is staying at an apartment next to the theatre. She brought the puppy to the back dock after a show (after much demanding from us).
The dog didn't have a name yet. The idea was going to be that through suggestions, we would name her collectively. What actually happened was people would walk out, see the puppy, and say things like, "Awww, Tommy-puppy.." and "hewo dare, widdow Tommy." Everyone automatically called her Tommy, even when they hadn't heard the last person just call her that.
"Guess her name's Tommy."
It stands for Tommy Walker and, since her mother was Bugsy Malone, it also stands for Tommy-Gun.
