We ended up walking to the closest fireworks display.I am LOVING my new camera. It has a "fireworks" setting! The picture above is my favorite. I'm putting a few more up here, but to see all the great shots I got, go here.
After the fireworks display, we went back to the house-boat. The boat traffic was unbelievable. Everyone heading in one direction. Each green light represents a boat.
Our hostess attempted to count them. She got up to 600 and then based on other facts, determined there was around one thousand boats. Counting things with motors, only. That doesn't count rowboats, kayaks, canoes, etc.

Yeah, I was so kickingt myself for leaving the camera at home...I mean, it has it's own setting! It seems rude not to use it!
