Andi came up from Portland, bringing with her a camera and Apple laptop (her two prized posessions). During the day on Friday we went to Top Pot - the one on Capitol Hill - to go through pictures. As we were sitting there, I looked around and noticed something interesting. All the laptops around us were Apples - and there were a lot of them! Go Mac-Heads!I just liked the bookend looks of these two people on laptops. You can see a snippet of Andi's laptop and her camera strap.
Then it was off to Cyber-Dog to refuel. That is an experience in itself. I had always avoided the place since I figured they sold hot dogs and I'm a vegetarian. It's actually ALL vegetarian hot dogs! The Russian lady behind the counter was most of the experience. She remembers all her customers, recognized Andi, and knew I had never been in there before.
When she handed me my DogaLisa (pesto and parmesan), I said, 'Spasiba.'
"No, it's a DogaLisa, you should say 'Grazie!'" She headed off to another customer, then turned back to me,"Well... how is it?"
"I haven't taken a bite yet."
So she stood over me until I did. Swallow. "Xorosho!" (Russian for 'good.')
She patted my shouler and smiled, "Spasiba!"
Then Andi was going to get ready to go to Chop Suey that night and I had plans with Pic, but didn't even know where we were headed.

Ah! Xorosho! I would have spelled it the same way. BUT - X is the the Russian H. However, Horosho doesn't look right does it? Bpauhbawd!
