666 Ok By Me

I have been in a good mood all day - for no particular reason. Guess 6/6/06 is just fine in my world.
I always have a nightmare right before I do a show. A nightmare about the show. This one came late. This morning I had a Dolly nightmare - about sound, though. And it was a drawn-out, very realistic nightmare. Then I woke up and realized that I don't do sound on Dolly. No worries!

I went to Aqua Verde with a friend for dinner and had a great meal outdoors, next to the water. (Photo is from their website)

On my way there, I felt like there was just something slightly wrong about my car. When I got on the highway and turned on the overdrive, it didn't have the same pep as it usually does. Off the highway, I was taking a slow right turn. I saw a man on the corner pointing to my back right tire. It was flat.
Take care of it after the meal.
Still did not ruin my mood in the least. I have Auto Club and unlimited towing services. When I called (which is always fun explaining to people in a different state where exactly you are) and told him that I was on Boat Street, he said, "Boat? As in...boat?"
"Yeah, like a..." I was about to say dingy, but he then said, "as in bee oh ay tee?"

I was happy to find my folding deck chair in my trunk - and a good tire, not just a donut. My friend had to go to work, so I pulled out the chair and tried to catch up on my phone calls while enjoying the sunset. No one was answering (funny. You can't say 'no one was home' anymore because they all have cell phones). After my fourth time talking to someone's voicemail, I got out the camera to entertain myself. It was at this time the tow truck showed up and I felt like a dork. So here is the one picture I got in around 9pm. Not one of my best.

Sorry about not being there....I was in the Eastern time zone and had just gone to bed. Ironically, I had thought about calling you earlier in the night because I felt like chatting.
