The Land of OZ

OZ- The Oregon Zoo. (Remember when it was the Washington Park Zoo?) Did the standard stuff. Saw Packy the Elephant. I even had an exchange with a leopard. We blinked back and forth for a couple of minutes - I didn't know the big cats even did that!

The Bat House. It was like a frat party going on. Andi was just horrified by it. My response: well, how else do you get baby bats?

An Egyptian fruit bat stretches his wing, looking contimplative.

In the bird sanctuary. There was a sign as we entered saying that we needed to be quiet since a new African vulture, named Capone, was a bit shy and nervous around people.

And here is a picture of him crawling into Andi's lap.

Timon gives us the skinny about what he and Pumbaa have been up to lately.
