A Little Family History

This was the hospital where my dad was born. As you can see, it has been turned into a school administration building. Rather fitting, considering Dad became a teacher.

In the 40's my grandparents moved to the Oregon Coast. Grandpa was a carpenter. It was predicted that there would be a big building boom there right after the war. Unfortunately they were a few decades off. After less than a year they moved back to Portland. In honor of the family history, we had lunch at The Lumberyard in Cannon Beach.


This is one of the duplexes my grandparents lived in at Cannon Beach. I'm not sure if it is the one on the left or the right.
