Seaside at Sixty

Mum came up with a new tradition a few years ago. Wake up in the place you were born in exactly sixty years ago.

Luckily Dad was born in Seaside, Oregon. And in summer. (He was suppose to be the first baby born at the new hospital, but some pregnant tourist got in first). August 2, 1946.

When I saw this sculpture, I couldn't help but think of Lewis saying, "Clark, would you put that book down for once and look around?!"
Something I heard a lot from my dad when we would go on car trips.

Yes, that is a tsunami evacuation sign
you saw in the second picture.
