Mum once said to me,"How can you expect to organize your room when you can't even organize your own thoughts?"
I thought that is a good way to explain to people why I have trouble just keeping my apartment clean.
The major thing I noticed when I went on the meds for the very first time was how much easier it was to clean my room. All of a sudden I could actually make decisions about things and was purging easily.
Now on to other things...Theatre can help people! The theatre was contacted about an elderly woman who had lost her husband a year ago and, naturally, has been very depressed about it. The son has been trying to cheer her up. It wasn't until she read about our show in the newspaper that she perked up. The son was so surprised how excited she seemed about the show that he asked the theatre if we could give her a backstage tour. So they came Friday night but didn't see the show until Sunday (Mother's Day - and our closing). She was a tutor on tv and film sets.
Read about her (and our show) here. The picture is also from the article. That's Taryn with her - one of the leads. You can see the back of my sound board in the very last row.

What a wonderful story. And what a wonderful son to do all that for his mother :)
I hope that what I said about organization was said with a smile and not out of frustration. Does everyone know our whole family suffers from ODS, Organization Deficit Syndrom?
I finally got the wallpaper off the our bedroom wall and am preparing the walls for painting. Dave spray painted the ceiling, so we had to move everything we could out of the room. There isn't a clear spot in the entire house, and not all of that is bedroom stuff. I have recently been working on four projects (or was it five?).
Love you.
I think when you said that it was when I was first surprised that being on meds could actually help me clean my room. I didn't understand why. So it wasn't said out of frustration, just explanation.
