My Hats on Dressers

Expecting to see hats sitting on top of bureaus? These women were dressers on the last show I did. They took care of the costumes and assisted the actors in getting in and out of them.

The Fuzzy Hat. First and only time I have made that style (I had to return the pattern book to the library). I tried it on myself and it was a bit small. You can't tell in the picture, but she's rather small and it fit her fine.


When she first tried it on I said, "You look like Holly Hobbie."
"Whose Holly Hobbie?"
I didn't know how to explain who she was to a 19 year old.
"Oh, is my youth showing again?"
