Being the first ones on the bus, we got prime seats, able to look out the front windshield. The stories that were told made me wonder about my own city's bus tours. I've never done one in Seattle. I know a lot of it's history. Would I learn anything new?
One of the cool things about the tour is you get to step off the bus and do things like...walk on the Golden Gate Bridge.
See the whole city from Twin Peaks.
Then came the renegade part of the tour. Buses aren't allowed to stop anywhere near the famous row of Victorian Houses or "The Painted Ladies." The tour guide told us we had five minutes to run across the park, see them, take pictures, and run back to the bus. "And if I've moved, that means the cops have found me, but I won't be far."
I thought I had a lovely picture with a dog running across and everything. The shade kind of ruined the "dog and everything" part.
This is the cross street. We liked the blue and red houses even better. I believe I picked the blue one and K picked the red (is that right, K?). I just know we didn't pick the same one. Perfect. We can be neighbors.Actually, there was a row we saw in Haight that impressed us even more - but never got a picture.

No, I liked the blue/black one on the far left. I think you said it was too goth. But having different tastes in houses and men has it's advantages. As we've discovered.
